Jawad is a venture capitalist and social entrepreneur who established several successful businesses. In 2011, he shifted focus to social entrepreneurship, and became Co-Founder and CEO of Nebny Foundation (www.Nebny.com, www.facebook.com/Nebny). Nebny Foundation impacted the lives of over 100,000 People, it has been recognized as one of the fastest growing NGOs in Egypt after the revolution, and has been chosen by the World Bank from over 40,000 NGO’s in the Middle East to become their 2013 donor recipient . Additionally, Jawad is the youngest board member of the Egyptian Water Regulatory Agency, where oversees administers investments, and is constantly working on innovative solutions for water purification. He trains and lectures around the world on the topics of Happiness and Leadership. He is also working on his book “How I became Happy” . Jawad received the 2011 Khalil Gibran Spirit of Humanity award.
