Yusuf Abdul-Qadir is the Central New York Chapter Director at New York Civil Liberties Union. He is a passionate and engaged professional active in corporate sustainability and citizenship. Originally from the inner city borough of the Bronx, he is a well-traveled commentator and emerging leader concerned with the impacts of human behavior on the natural environment and communities (urban, suburban, and rural) in developing and more developed countries. An entrepreneur, he has designed and managed various projects that aid stakeholders, be they governments and municipalities, corporations, communities, universities, and students, or the average consumer in reducing tradeoffs to sustainable development while identifying opportunities to reinvest in natural and human capital.
